Doonbeg Football Club would like to extend its sympathy to the family of the late Des Haugh, Caherlean and Clonmoney, Bunratty. Des played football with the Magpies from underage up to minor and U21 level, winning two under 21 championships in the mid sixties. He played with the Doonbeg Intermediates in 1978 and 1979 and this team reached a final during that time. Des continued his involvement with the club through-out his working life and subscribed generously to all club developments and fundraisers.

Funeral Arrangements as follows:
Reposing at The Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Doonbeg, from 6.30pm to 8pm this evening. Mass at 12 noon on Friday. Burial immediately afterwards in Doonmore Cemetery.
