Football boots exchange program
The cost of kitting out underage players has always been of concern to parents. With this in mind Doonbeg Football Club has decided to facilitate a football boots exchange program.
WHAT'S THIS ABOUT?
Simply this is where parents can bring along boots that their children have outgrown and pick up another pair free of charge (give a pair take a pair). You can bring along as many pairs as you like but a minimum of be 1 pair.
WHY?
This should help families, as kids out grow perfectly good boots very quickly. As this is the first time an initiative like this has been set up not just in our club or even Clare, we ask you to please give boots that are no longer used. This is open to all underage, boys and girls.
WHEN AND WHERE?
Boots can be dropped into the Development Office in the Hall at any stage over the next 2 days. The date set for exchange is set for 29th April in the Hall.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
If you are interested in participating then drop in a pair or pairs of boots to the development office. Please ensure the laces are tied together and the size of the boots is marked clearly(with a sticker etc). Then write your details on the sheet supplied and that's it! On Sat the 29th you can go along with your child to pick up a new pair of boots! Free of charge!!
