Dear Members,

As most of you are already aware, the Clare 250 mile cycle takes place again this year on the 20th/21st May. This cycle has benefited countless cancer patients over the past 37 years. There hasn't been a single family in Clare that hasn't felt the effects of this disease on close family or friends.

The money donated to this cycle allows cancer sufferers to go Lourdes on a pilgrimage in September each year and funds a cancer centre in Ballygriffey.

This year we have 3 people representing Doonbeg who have volunteered to take part in the cycle. Senan Mc Dermott again leads the way, he will be accompanied this year by Pat Haugh and Colm Killeen.

There are sponsorship cards in the local shops, pubs and post office. Please support by giving what you can to the cause.
